County Insider Promotion

Here we go again. Tomorrow, the Board of Supervisors is set to promote another ‘insider’ at top dollar, allegedly based on who they know rather than what they know. It’s a slap in the face to every county worker who has been denied a deserved wage increase under the excuse that the county is ‘broke.’

While Ryan Kelley, Peggy Price, and John Hawk suppress the compensation study to keep salaries low, they are fast-tracking projects with questionable health and environmental risks under the guise of ‘job creation.’ To make matters worse, rumors are circulating that better-qualified candidates weren’t even interviewed for last hire for assistant CEO because the fix was already in.
